Tom started his broadcasting career at a local AM station
as a weekend DJ while he was still in high school.
Over the last 30 years, he's worked as an announcer at radio & TV
stations in the US and Japan, as a commercial voice artist & writer,
created voice characters for listening CDs for ESL textbooks, and
performed voiceover narration for industrial video production.
Turn on the TV in Japan and you'll hear his voice on national
commercials; walk through train stations in Central Japan -- that's his
voice making the English announcement. Press the "English" button on the
video displays at Toyota's main showroom, and there he is.
His voice has been in demand by such clients as Yamaha, McDonald's,
National/Panasonic, Hitachi, and especially Toyota Motors, with whom he
works regularly on international video promotion projects. He also enjoyed 5 years announcing for "Radio-I," Nagoya's international FM station.
Since 1993, Tom's been represented by talent agent Emi Aoi of Nagoya, Japan -- her talent
office can be reached at +81 52-932-5116.
